Our daily analysis reports are published over the Internet every morning before the trading day starts. The reports include forecasts based on our proprietary models and our analysts’ market assessments, various supply and demand forecasts and the latest weather forecasts from several meteorological offices. We continuously check the accuracy of our predictions against benchmarks which are available for our customers to review

The weather forecasts are key to the analysis. Point Carbon Power & Gas has an exclusive cooperation with the German Wettersentraale, and also provides our clients with two daily forecasts. This information is then assessed and analysed by our own in-house meteorological experts and used by our analysts to make forecasts for consumption.

Subscribers can access a variety of downloadable data, enabling them to keep their own databases current and accurate. Point Carbon analysts are available to our customers and are happy to discuss a variety of topics from market assessment to model construction.
