System Administrator Linux - Oslo
Linux bash/shell scripting, upgrading of OS and services and supporting our developers with code migration, deployment and subversion.

We are a dynamic organisation with high professional standards. The carbon emission market is in strong growth – and we are continuously developing new products and improving our existing applications. We are therefore looking to strengthen our IT-team with a dynamic project manager. We are currently about 30 people in the IT department (20 of these in Oslo, the rest in Kiev and Washington D.C.). You will work closely with the development teams and our infrastructure team. You will report to the Infrastructure & Operations Manager. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Linux bash/shell scripting, upgrading of OS and services
- Supporting our developers with code migration, deployment and subversion
- Help improve our Linux operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold a title in Software Engineering/Master of Science/Bachelor of Science or similar
- 2-5 years relevant experience with Linux
- Interested in databases and Oracle a plus
- Committed and reliable
- Self-motivated with good inter-personal skills
- Structured, yet creative and able to solve difficult problems in creative and smart ways
SKILLS
- Excellent skills in RHEL(RedHat), SuSe, Ubuntu og CentOS
- Knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss, Subversion, Trac, Maven
- Experience from Oracle databases on Linux a plus
- Experience with tuning, AQ, data warehouse, real time processing on Oracle a plus
- Fluent in English, Norwegian is not a requirement
